The first ever employer supported volunteering (ESV) national network for voluntary and community sector organisations.

The aim of the network is for peers to come together to share information and good practice to help develop ESV across the UK. Topics discussed are chosen by members and Works4U organises and delivers expert workshops.

It's FREE for organisation to participate and access resources/workshops. See bottom of page to see how to join.

ESV Network

The national ESV Network has been set up and is run by not-for-profit employee volunteering specialist Works4U. It has been set up to support the increase in levels and impact of ESV work across the UK.

Useful Tools/Resources

Works4U will be producing, over time, a full pack of useful resources for any organisation interested in carrying out ESV work. Organisations are free to download and use as they see fit:

Blank/unbranded Risk Assessment for carrying out ESV projects - this is a real risk assessment that is used and, when completed, shared with business clients.

ESV Statement explaining why businesses need to pay for ESV projects - to send to businesses if they do not understand why there is a charge for ESV, e.g. "Why I am paying to volunteer?".

ESV Manager Job Description Template - A draft template to help put together a job description and advert.

ESV Workshop: Setting up an ESV Programme - comprehensive guide to what you need to consider to set up a sustainable ESV programme.
