What kinds of projects do you organise?

We work closely with all community organisations across the sector. From gardening and DIY, to befriending projects with elderly and people with disabilities, and city farms.

How much notice do you need?

We advise a minimum 3 weeks to prepare a volunteering project so please keep that in mind when planning. If you're in a rush, please get in touch anyway and we'll see what we can do!

Why is there a cost?

The act of volunteering is and always should be free, however non-profits such as Works4U charge simply to cover the time organising volunteering programmes as well as for materials and costs. The national ESV network statement explains further why a budget is needed.

What are the timings?

Our days typically run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with 1 hr lunch break but we're happy to accommodate half days or any time that works for you.
