“Engaging with the corporate sector” was the theme chosen to reignite the breakfast networking meetings, which took place at the Jury’s Inn hotel, Imperial Wharf on 30th September 2010.
Nearly 20 delegates attended the meeting which included a speed networking session in the morning as an ice breaker and networking ‘starter’. This proved to be very successful as many people were enjoying it.
A short presentation was then delivered by Doreen Grant-Oppan on Employer Supported Volunteering, followed by a question and answer session. Once the questions and answers were over there was lots of time to network with one another.
The feedback received from delegates was very positive. One delegate wrote that they were ‘inspired to keep taking steps forward’ and another said the event was ‘very enjoyable, will definitely come to the next one and recommend to colleagues.’
