The volunteers from GE arrived at 12:30pm on a sunny Thursday at Kew Gardens to meet with the residents of Elgin Close. After a short introduction, the volunteers were paired with the residents from Elgin Close and enjoyed picnic on the lawn near Elizabeth Gate.

Once the group had finished with the picnic, they headed towards Victoria Gate to view the Princess of Wales Conservatory, the Rock Garden and the Palm House.

The group ended the day by enjoying a nice cup of tea and some cake at the Orangery Restaurant.
