Disney VoluntEARS armed with shovel, spear cutters, saws, paint and abundance of energy and enthusiasm ventured down to renovate the garden of Look Ahead care home in West London.

As with all Look Ahead Housing, they offer a wide range of specialist care, support and accommodation services to vulnerable adults preparing them to live independently.

The 11 strong-team from original content programming department displayed their gardening skills and managed to plant an array of bright colourful flowers, install trills fencing, deck tiles and introduced an assembled bench. The new garden will give residents more space to relax, creating an ambient environment where the residents can socialise and engage with nature.

Spirits remained high with the voluntEARS conversing with one another and the local residents. Afternoon refreshments were served for their welcome assistance.

Orion Ross, VP Original Programming Content and Animation Digital was very keen to support the local community and enjoyed himself in the process. “I enjoyed gardening…it was my first time volunteering for Disney…and decided to get out of the office and help”.

Costiana, Team Leader from Look Ahead credits the efforts of the voluntEARS. “Thank you on behalf of management. We very much appreciate your hard work”.
