The Works4U Director, Jo Morrell, presented a quick introduction of the “What Next?” Employment Workshop, with the help of Disney VoluntEARS who were from a variety of fields within The Walt Disney Company. The first session of the workshop was the “Speed Dating Session” where volunteers were positioned around the room, giving the Youth Councillors an opportunity to interview them for 15 minutes.

During the next session, the volunteers evaluated the Youth Councillors’ personality test, which they were asked to fill out at home. The volunteers were then able to help the Youth Councillors reflect on their results by understanding their strengths and weaknesses.

The final session allowed the Youth Councillors to present their future goals and map out the next steps on their career paths.
